Sustainability Commitments and Actions
The World Chlorine Council is committed to the goal of sustainable development - defined by the United Nations as "development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."
Our report, Sustainability Commitments and Actions, describes how the global chlor-alkali industry contributes to sustainable development, both by providing essential products and by continuously working to improve its social, economic and environmental performance - known as the "triple bottom line." The report also addresses key challenges that remain in our journey towards sustainability.
